Visas are available from the Mongolian Embassy in your or your neighboring country. For all information related to consular matters, please contact the nearest diplomatic or consular mission of Mongolia by telephone or E-mail. We will supply an official confirmation letter (by email or post) for your visa application once you book a travel service with us.

For Mongolian Tourist or Business Visas for 30 days or less it is required to submit by mail or in person following documentation:

1. Passport with a validity date at least six months beyond the end of the applicants intended period of stay in Mongolia
2. Visa Application Form for Tourists with one passport size photo
3. Single entry visa fee is $55.00.
   Fees must be paid in US dollars by money order or cashier’s check made payable to "The Embassy of Mongolia"
4. Prepaid, self-addressed return envelope. We recommend using a certified mail with tracking number, like DHL, Federal Express, Priority Mail, Express mail.

Normally visa is processed in 2 working days. However, please be advised that the regulations require up to one week for the processing.

MONGOLIA VISA REQUIREMENTS AND FEES

Country and its Citizen Do Not Need Mongolia Visa for All Type of Passport:

The Government of Mongolia approved a list of 42 countries with a visa free access to Mongolia. According to this decision nationals of these countries are entitled with the visa-free stay for up to 30 days for tourist and short business trips from June 25, 2014 till 31st December 2015.

The list includes the following countries: Republic of Austria, Principality of Andorra, Argentine Republic, Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Kingdom of Belgium, Republic of Bulgaria, Federative Republic of Brazil, Hellenic Republic, Gibraltar(Overseas territory of the United Kingdom), Grenada, Kingdom of Denmark, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Republic of Iceland, Kingdom of Spain, Italian Republic, Republic of Ireland, Republic of Cyprus, Republic of Costa Rica, Republic of Latvia, Republic of Lithuania, Principality of Liechtenstein, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Republic of Malta, Principality of Monaco, Kingdom of the Netherlands, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Panama, Republic of Poland, Portuguese Republic, Romania. Slovak Republic, Republic of Slovenia, Hungary, Oriental Republic of Uruguay, Republic of Finland, French Republic, Republic of Croatia, Czech Republic, Republic of Chile, Kingdom of Sweden, Swiss Confederation, Republic of Estonia.

The Visa Section will be closed on the following Mongolian public holidays.

1. 1st  January (New year)
2. 1-3 days of the Lunar Calendar New year (varies but commonly either in January or February)
3. 8th March (International Women’s Day)
4. 1st June (Children’s Day)
5. 11-15th July (Naadam Festival-National Day)
6. 29th  December (Independence Day)
7. 1st day of winter month of Lunar Calendar Chingis Khaan’s commemoration day (October or November)

Note: Due to its geographical location and altitude, Mongolian Lunar Calendar days may slightly differ from other Asian countries including Japan and China.
